It was 1952 when Attilio Babbi, in love with the art of confectionery and pastry, created the Babbi company for the production of wafer cones and gelato ingredients. The selection of the best raw materials and the high quality of production processes allowed Babbi to quickly become the point of reference for master gelato makers and confectioners in Italy and throughout the world.

For 70 years, choosing Babbi has meant allowing yourself to be seduced by sweet creations that come only from selected raw materials. The refining and pasteurisation of the creams, monitored by our experts and combined with the careful cooking of the fragrant wafers, give an unrivalled flavour and delicacy.

From the time the company was established, Nonno Attilio has wished to move away from the already rich and saturated mass market to aim at a niche market where he could introduce his ingenious specialities, at first only for the ice-cream sector and later also for the confectionery sector. It didn't take long for the market to realise the uniqueness and value of Babbi products, whose flavour and top-quality ingredients, processed by expert hands, have a value that goes far beyond mere "goodness".
